Job Responsibilities
Plan and Implement Business and Marketing Activities for Managed Stores:
- Develop revenue targets for stores in the region on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, based on assigned sales targets.
- Monitor and supervise the execution of business plans and inventory according to store targets (overall and detailed targets by brand), and propose solutions for issues arising during operations.
- Control pre-tax profits, business performance, inventory turnover efficiency (VQV), and labor cost efficiency.
- Propose initiatives to enhance customer quality: track the number of returning and new customers by managed cluster.
- Review and evaluate ordering processes (new orders, re-orders, product categories) for stores in the cluster to ensure business and inventory efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with behavioral standards, store standards, and operational standards through monthly inspections, evaluations, and training.
- Oversee complaint resolution at stores and address complaints beyond the store manager’s authority. Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer complaints/feedback, ensuring a balance of interests and satisfaction for both internal stakeholders and customers.
- Regularly coordinate and interact with other regions regarding sales and inventory status.
- Participate in periodic product design evaluations and propose new designs based on best-selling products, market trends, or leading designs every six months.
- Propose, coordinate, and monitor marketing programs for stores in the region.
- Prepare analytical reports evaluating business plan execution on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Implement assigned projects once per year, if applicable, at the branch.
- Attend monthly cluster meetings to identify and resolve business issues, and monthly store meetings (in-person every two months for provincial stores or online monthly).
- Ensure the development of online sales channels within the managed cluster.
- Contribute to developing processes, regulations, and policies at the branch to improve operational efficiency.
Manage, Supervise, and Develop Store Staff:
- Coordinate the allocation of sales staff within the managed region.
- Supervise store managers to ensure they fulfill their assigned roles and responsibilities.
- Train and coach store managers.
- Periodically evaluate store managers’ performance and oversee their staff evaluations, proposing staff development plans quarterly.
- Train and develop a succession team.
- Participate in recruiting new staff, and evaluate post-training performance for store manager and sales staff roles.
- Coordinate and participate in monthly and ad-hoc store meetings to identify issues and propose corrective and preventive actions.
- Propose reward programs for store managers and sales staff to boost sales, encourage teamwork, and align with company culture.
- Propose and participate in disciplinary meetings, and monitor the implementation of disciplinary measures.
Market and Customer Research, Propose New Product Development Plans:
- Stay updated on market trends and competitor information, providing insights into future market trends to adjust business plans accordingly. Inform sales staff about competitors’ programs and propose competitive strategies.
- Monitor market product trends to provide input on company design directions and competitor products in the region.
- Prepare market reports on competitors, product pricing, designs, and new trends for the Sales Management team quarterly or as needed.
Support and Develop the Store Network:
- Participate in researching and identifying new locations to ensure the expansion of the distribution network aligns with the company’s plan.
- Provide input on the layout design for new or renovated stores.
- Evaluate the business performance of managed stores three months after opening, analyze reasons for underperformance, propose improvement solutions, and assess quarterly results.
- Conduct quarterly surveys of the store network in the managed cluster to assess facility conditions and report to relevant departments for timely repairs, upgrades, or maintenance.
- Perform Other Tasks as Assigned by Superiors
Job Requirements
- Male or female, holding a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with knowledge of retail, jewelry, fashion, electronics, or chain store systems.
- Strong analytical and judgment skills.
- Ability to organize and manage tasks effectively.
- Capability to oversee and control departmental activities. o Excellent communication, teamwork, and public speaking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong influence, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Expertise in sales management activities, including market analysis and business planning.
- Proficiency in tools such as Excel, BI, SAP, and ERP.
