Assistant Brand Manager (Homecare)

Our strategic partner is a leading Singaporean multinational that operates in over 54 countries. The company’s core business is in the FMCG and chemical sectors, among others.

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Job Responsibilities

Product Research and Development (Vietnam – Laos – Cambodia):

  • Conduct research and surveys to propose new product concepts.
  • Conceptualize, design, and develop new product packaging and samples.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing Department and manufacturers to develop product samples and packaging.
  • Execute surveys to improve product quality and packaging.
  • Develop key visuals and finalize all product information.

Brand Activities (Vietnam – Laos – Cambodia):

  • Plan, execute, and monitor the brand’s ATL marketing activities.
  • Collaborate with the Trade Marketing team to execute BTL activities at the point of sale, including: in-store promoters (PGs), product displays, sampling commando, promotional programs, signage, and truck branding.
  • Coordinate with the Purchasing Department to procure POSM to support sales activities.
  • Work with the Purchasing Department to source promotional gifts for campaigns.
  • Plan and execute sponsorship activities.
  • Manage internal communication and sales support activities.
  • Plan and execute promotional and communication activities on e-commerce channels.

Contracts and Payments (Vietnam – Laos – Cambodia):

  • Prepare contracts, manage acceptance processes, and compile full payment documentation for commercial/service contracts related to the brand’s communication activities.
  • Prepare contracts, manage acceptance processes, and compile full payment documentation for contracts with third-party service providers.
  • Prepare contracts, manage acceptance processes, and compile full payment documentation for sponsorship agreements.

Reporting (Vietnam – Laos – Cambodia):

  • Prepare monthly, semi-annual and annual reports on brand activities, market trends, competitor analysis, and top-of-mind awareness as required by Senior Leadership.
  • Generate reports on market research, competitor intelligence, and product development as requested by line manager.

Other Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other departments to handle and resolve work-related issues as they arise.
  • Update product information for the Sales and Marketing teams; design promotional leaflets; provide product images and other sales support materials (promotional stickers, price boards, etc.).
  • Update information on the company website.
  • Conceptualize and design packaging and sales support materials for the chemical products team.
  • Track and manage the brand budget.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the FMCG industry. Experience in the homecare category (liquid/powder detergent, floor cleaner, hand wash, etc.) is a strong advantage.
  • Strong management, analytical and information synthesis skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Flexible and quick problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent task and people management skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • English: Intermediate or above communication skills.
