Accounting Manager

Our strategic partner is a leading Japanese manufacturing company.

Location: Long An, Vietnam

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee and guide the accounting department, setting performance metrics and evaluating team results.
• Develop and enforce the company’s accounting policies, operational procedures, and internal control systems.
• Handle the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring full compliance with local regulations.
• Supervise core accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, inventory management, asset tracking, cost analysis, tax preparation, and audit support.
• Track and contribute to the company’s financial forecasting and budget development.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams, external audit firms, and government tax agencies.
• Manage the professional growth of the accounting team through clear role definitions, training programs, and performance reviews.
• Identify opportunities and recommend changes to make accounting processes more efficient.
• Complete additional duties as requested by senior leadership.

Job Requirements

• A university degree in Accounting or Finance, accompanied by a valid Chief Accountant certificate.
• Must be 35 years of age or older, with a minimum of 5 years of work experience in an equivalent role.
• Proven ability in leading and managing a team effectively.
• Solid knowledge of Vietnamese tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and cost control methods.
• Competency with the MS Office suite and standard accounting software.
• English language proficiency equivalent to IELTS 5.5 or TOEIC 600, with fluent speaking skills.
• Possesses strong analytical skills, a high level of personal integrity, and an ability to resolve issues proactively.
• Previous work experience within a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
