Mechanical Leader

Our strategic partner is a foreign-invested enterprise and a subsidiary of a reputable international group from Asia. The company specializes in construction execution, operational solutions, and the provision of solutions and products related to pure water treatment and wastewater treatment systems for industrial sectors.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Develop general arrangement layouts and plot plans for water treatment systems based on P&ID documentation.
  • Build three-dimensional models for water treatment systems using AutoCAD Plant 3D software.
  • Prepare bills of materials and requests for quotation for piping, structural components, tanks, and other mechanical items.
  • Design piping systems, skids, vessels, tanks, piping racks, and stages in compliance with specifications, P&ID, and layout requirements.
  • Generate two-dimensional shop drawings and isometric drawings derived from three-dimensional models.
  • Lead and supervise a team of two Mechanical Design Engineers, including task allocation, progress tracking, and quality control of technical deliverables.

Job Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Plant 3D for engineering design tasks.
  • Candidates with experience working in Japanese companies are given priority consideration.
  • Capability to use Advanced Steel, structural analysis tools, and BIM-related software.
  • Minimum of 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D, including advanced usage and administrator-level exposure, and at least one year in a team leader or senior or key engineer role.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings written in English.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Understanding of piping drawings, isometric drawings, and fabrication drawings, with preference for experience related to JIS and PVC piping systems.
  • Knowledge in water treatment systems, chemical engineering principles, fluid mechanics, and material selection.
  • Ability to read and understand P&ID diagrams.
  • Knowledge and practical experience in piping systems.
  • Understanding of material standards applied to structural components, storage tanks, vessels, and piping systems, based on JIS or equivalent standards.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • High level of motivation with a proactive learning mindset.
  • Strong sense of responsibility toward delivering quality work and contributing to organizational performance.
  • Age ranges from 28 to 35 years old.
