Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the NA Product Management team to increase sales revenue while controlling inventory levels.
- Identify and assess opportunities for cost reduction and source a network of reliable, high-quality vendors.
- Review sales data to understand performance trends for specific products and the overall category.
- Develop an annual plan for sourcing and purchasing products.
- Secure favorable pricing by conducting competitive bids (tenders) and comparing supplier terms against market standards.
- Determine the specific needs of the business unit and integrate them into the wider company’s purchasing strategy.
- Maintain the accuracy of product information within the master database for traded goods.
Job Requirements
- Fluency in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin).
- A university degree or equivalent qualification in any field.
- A minimum of 03 years of professional experience in a product purchasing or procurement role.
- Prior experience within the packaging sector is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with a good intuition for product marketability.
- This position requires occasional travel for business purposes.
- Proficient with computers, particularly advanced functions in MS Excel for creating and managing complex data tools.
