Senior People & Culture Business Partner – Project

Our strategic partner is a global fintech company, currently expanding its business operations in Vietnam. The company is seeking to fill key positions for its activities in this new market.

Location: Vung Tau, Vietnam

Job Responsibilities

Project Management:

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Demonstrated ability to partner with external organisations and key internal business stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of HR-related projects. Build strong working relationships with assigned Executives and business leaders to support people-related project outcomes.
  • Project Alignment: Collaborate closely with stakeholders to develop and implement project outcomes, ensuring all people-related aspects are in line with the broader people plan and cycle.
  • Proactive Problem-Solving: Identify potential people-related challenges and opportunities early, and work with HR colleagues to provide consistent, practical advice and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Project Implementation: Drive the end-to-end implementation of HR Vietnam project within companny, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with organisational values and objectives.
  • Data Accuracy and Teamwork: Collaborate with the HR Services team to ensure that all project-related data is accurately captured and maintained in company systems. Resolve issues collaboratively, embodying a ‘one team’ approach with a strong focus on keeping people at the centre of all decisions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Participate actively in team meetings to raise project issues, share knowledge, celebrate achievements, and provide training and direction as needed. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to convey information and insights.
  • Continuous Improvement: Embrace change, seek innovative solutions, and support a culture of communication. Proactively suggest improvements to enhance project outcomes

Contributes to the success of Vietnam HR Project:

  • Actively participate in team meetings to raise project-related issues, share expertise, and contribute to collective knowledge.
  • Establish and maintain strong, effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Communicate information and insights to key stakeholders in a clear and timely manner, ensuring alignment and understanding.
  • Collaborate effectively with all areas of the business to facilitate seamless project execution and integration.
  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of project methodologies, processes, and supporting tools by identifying and implementing improvement opportunities.

Ensures compliance with policies and standards, and ensures compliance will all local statutory requirements:

  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant local legislative and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Consistently adhere to company policies, procedures, and the corporate Code of Conduct in all professional activities.
  • Maintain current knowledge of applicable legislation by engaging with industry organisations where appropriate.
  • Uphold workplace health and safety standards at all times, proactively addressing breaches or escalating concerns to management as necessary.
  • Demonstrate integrity and ethical conduct in the management of company assets and interactions with colleagues and stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or equivalent experience
  • Fluent English communication skills – written, verbal, reading
  • Demonstrated operational and strategic experience in Human Resources, including hands-on leadership of HR projects and initiatives from planning through execution and evaluation
  • Sound knowledge of relevant employment legislation and standards, with the ability to ensure compliance throughout project lifecycles
  • Solid understanding of organizational culture, change management, and employee engagement practices, with proven expertise in facilitating transformation and adoption across diverse teams
  • Extensive experience designing, implementing, and maintaining recruitment, training, performance management, and remuneration processes within a project management framework
  • Demonstrated experience successfully leading and implementing complex HR projects, including scoping, stakeholder engagement, change management, and post-implementation review
  • Strong project management skills, including proficiency with project planning tools, risk management, and delivery against timelines and objectives
  • Well-developed influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to drive consensus and facilitate decision-making among diverse stakeholder groups
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships, with a focus on collaboration and partnership
  • Facilitation experience, including leading workshops, meetings, and training sessions to support project objectives and team development
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic HR environment
