Job Responsibilities
Process Development & Control:
- Establish, implement, and update SOPs for import, export and customs declaration.
- Ensure legal compliance and integration with the company’s internal management systems.
Documentation Management & Legal Compliance:
- Responsible for completing, archiving, and maintaining all documents and records required for official inspections, examinations, audits.
- Proactively coordinate with relevant authorities to handle any arising issues
Coordination of Import-Export Operations:
- Plan the import of raw materials, accessories and machinery, and the export of finished goods to ensure production and delivery schedules are met.
- Resolve issues related to customs procedures, specialized inspections, transportation.
Cost Control & Risk Management:
- Analyze logistics, warehousing, transportation costs; propose solutions for optimization.
- Prevent risks such as shipping delays, incorrect documentation, legal violations.
Partner Relations & Negotiation:
- Work and negotiate with forwarders, shipping lines, inspection agencies, and other logistics partners.
- Ensure contract terms are favorable and aligned with the company’s business needs.
Auditing & System Improvement:
- Participate in and lead internal audits; prepare for external audits.
- Propose improvements to systems (ERP, VNACCS/VCIS, BI reports) and initiatives to optimize processes.
Team Management & Development:
- Assign tasks to, supervise, evaluate the performance of 03 Import-Export team members.
- Train, coach, and support the team’s professional development and foster a collaborative spirit.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Foreign Trade, Import-Export, Logistics or a related field.
- Minimum of 05 years of management experience in a similar position (Import-Export Leader/Manager).
- In-depth knowledge of customs law, C/O procedures, EPE regulations, specialized inspections.
- Hands-on experience working directly with customs authorities, forwarders and auditors.
- Fluent in Chinese (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing); able to read and comprehend related documents in English.
- Strong skills in management, negotiation, planning, problem-solving, cross-departmental coordination.
