Chief Accountant

Our strategic partner is a sales and customer care center branch of a leading international group specializing in the design, development and manufacturing of insoles.

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including sales revenue, expense tracking, and payment processing.
• Manage bookkeeping and ensure accurate, timely entry of financial data into the company system.
• Prepare monthly expense reports and submit them through the company’s internal platform.
• Calculate and manage sales revenue and commissions for the Sales Team.
• Prepare, declare, and submit taxes in compliance with Vietnamese tax regulations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and tax reports.
• Manage invoices, receipts, and other accounting documentation.
• Collaborate with internal departments to provide necessary financial data and insights.
• Support external audits and ensure all reports are audit-ready.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the General Director.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role as Chief Accountant.
• Proficient in Mandarin Chinese (HSK Level 4 or above).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards in Vietnam.
• Skilled in tax finalization, VAT, CIT, PIT reporting and reconciliation.
• Competent in preparing and analyzing financial reports and tax statements.
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Detail-oriented, accurate, and trustworthy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and under high pressure.
