Software Test Engineer

Our strategic partner is an international company based in Europe, known for its trusted brand and reputable standing in the advertising industry with a history of significant achievements. Currently, our strategic partner is expanding its business operations in Vietnam and is seeking to fill key positions for its activities in this new market.

Location: Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, Vietnam

Job Responsibilities

• Test Planning and Preparation: Develop comprehensive test plans, define test cases, and gather necessary test data to ensure thorough testing coverage.
• Technical Understanding: Gain a deep understanding of technical specifications and requirements provided by development teams or clients.
• Testing Execution: Execute rigorous testing, including manual and automated tests, to validate system functionality and uphold high software quality standards.
• Defect Reporting and Communication: Accurately document and report discovered defects or issues during testing, providing regular updates on testing progress to stakeholders.
• Collaboration and Issue Resolution: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across departments to facilitate smooth testing processes and prompt resolution of issues.
• Additional Responsibilities: Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by management to ensure project deadlines are met and contribute to team objectives.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant work experience may be considered.
• Proven experience in software testing, including test planning, test case creation, and execution.
• Familiarity with both manual and automated testing methodologies and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and adapt to changing project requirements.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles is preferred.
