Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Head of Financial Control to join the Finance team at a large-scale Food and Beverage Manufacturing Company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial risk management and ensuring robust controls are in place to safeguard company assets. This role will involve planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring, and managing financial risks across the organization, as well as contributing to crisis management coordination at the Corporate level. The Job Holder will play a crucial role in identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them effectively.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, implement, inspect, monitor, identify, and manage financial risks to safeguard the financial integrity of the company.
• Coordinate crisis management efforts at the Corporate level to ensure swift and effective responses to financial crises or emergencies.
• Conduct internal audits according to the annual audit plan and ad hoc audits requested by the Board of Directors/Audit Committee.
• Audit and identify discrepancies in financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive financial risk management system, including policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate risks effectively.
• Work with relevant departments to integrate risk management practices into daily operations and strategic planning processes.
• Analyze financial data and market trends to identify potential risks and recommend strategies to minimize financial losses.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders on financial risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and audit findings.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience (at least 10 years) in financial risk management, internal audit, or a related field, preferably within the food and beverage manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of financial instruments, markets, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex financial information and identify key risks.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing financial risk management strategies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, CIA) is a plus.
• Proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement and achieving results.
