Category Supply Chain Specialist

Our Partner is a leading multinational company and a pioneer in the flexible packaging manufacturing industry, specializing in sophisticated packaging solutions, delivering unparalleled quality across various sectors, including food, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals.

Job Responsibilities 

• Act as the Category Supply Chain Specialist responsible for supply chain management activities related to the North American market.
• Focus on handling imported traded goods sourced from Southeast Asia and delivered to the United States market.
• Manage and monitor supplier production capacity to ensure alignment with demand forecasts.
• Coordinate supply availability by considering logistics conditions such as ocean freight capacity, port congestion, and lead times.
• Ensure supplier output capabilities match projected demand and operational planning requirements.
• Identify and mitigate potential supply risks that may affect product availability in the US market.
• Optimize supplier performance to maintain a stable and cost-efficient flow of goods.
• Support the reliable and timely supply of products entering the United States market.
• Proactively oversee vendor capacity planning to avoid shortages, overcommitment, or operational disruptions.
• Work closely with internal teams including forecasting, planning, logistics, and sourcing to maintain supply chain alignment.

Job Requirements

• Good command of both spoken and written English.
• Ability to communicate in Chinese is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in any academic discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supply chain management related role.
• Experience within the packaging sector is considered an advantage.
• Strong product understanding and well-organized working style.
• Willingness to travel for business purposes when required.
