Chief Accountant

Our partner is a leading manufacturing company specializing in producing a wide array of premium-quality goods. These products are available to wholesale distributors, retailers, OEMs, and directly to consumers. Headquartered in the US, the company operates factories worldwide, and this position will be based at the factory in Long An, Vietnam.

• Location: Long An, Vietnam
• Reports To: General Manager, CFO based in US HQ
• Supervises: Accounting & Finance Dept; Also maintains financial oversight of purchasing and inventory departments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accounting function and related activities of the plant, ensuring that the company’s record-keeping is complete and accurate, including:
• Maintaining a proper set of books to comply with VAS
• Coordinating with New York to record and analyze US Quickbooks data.
• Maintaining a comprehensive system of internal controls to ensure proper documentation, authorization, and general controls for all purchases and expenses.
• Cost Accounting: Providing the company with accurate cost/profit analysis for each product produced at the factory.
• Analyzing and reporting operations, including periodic financial statements (monthly, quarterly, and annually) to management.
• Responsible for accurate and timely reporting of inventory and warehouse departments, maintaining an accurate account of each individual unit’s actual inventory.
• Responsible for cash expenditures, cash receipts, and balancing cash flow.
• Handling other related issues.

Job Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in a chief accountant position at a manufacturing company.
• Experience with MISA/Quickbooks software.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese (additional plus point) in speaking and writing.
• Excellent Excel and accounting software skills.
